Home recording and workplace recording are different projects

The LATAM Residential and USA Residential projects cover eligible household activities recorded in your own home in the matching region. The three commercial projects cover authentic routine work performed in an eligible active workplace in Latin America, the United States or Canada.

Do not choose a commercial project simply because its rate is different. You should apply only when your actual location, workplace and routine activities match that project's requirements.

What applicants should confirm before applying

Each project has its own eligibility questions, but accurate identity and contact details, a compatible smartphone, the required first-person recording setup and the ability to follow instructions consistently are important across the program.

  • You must be at least 18 years old and provide truthful application information.
  • Use accurate contact details and follow only the confirmation steps for the project you submitted; post-application flows can differ by opportunity.
  • Commercial applicants must have access to an eligible active workplace and obtain permission before recording.
  • An application can be reviewed or declined, and submitted recordings still require approval.

What happens after a successful application submission

The confirmation page presents the project-specific next steps. Follow only those instructions; applications, codes, portals and upload steps from a different opportunity do not carry over.

A saved application and any completed setup do not bypass assessment, recording quality review or additional instructions sent to qualified contributors.

Compensation is based on approved recording time

The displayed $6, $10, $12 and $15 USD rates are per approved recording or video hour for their respective projects; two current projects publish a $12 USD rate. They are not guaranteed hourly wages, salaries or promises of fixed hours.
