How the project tools fit together.

Crossing Hurdles handles candidate support. Selected participants use the Datoric Partner Portal for account and payment setup, and the Minute App to record and upload tasks. If Datoric instructions say “head mount,” that means the same phone headband shown on the application page.

For account, login, recording, or payment issues, email our team or leave a message in the project WhatsApp support group.

Section A

Project and eligibility

What is the paid video recording project?

Crossing Hurdles is looking for participants to join a paid AI video data collection project. The project involves recording short, first-person videos of everyday household activities using your smartphone. These videos are used to help train and improve next-generation AI systems. If you’re selected, you’ll complete onboarding through Datoric’s Partner Portal and use the Minute App to record and upload your videos.

Who do I contact if I run into an issue?

For any account, login, device, recording, or payment issue, email support@crossinghurdles.com or leave a message in the WhatsApp support group. The Crossing Hurdles team will help resolve it directly or coordinate with Datoric on your behalf.

Is this project open to my country?

This project is currently open only to applicants in the supported Latin American countries and territories listed in the application. If your location is listed but you see an ineligibility message, contact support with your registered email address and location.

How long do I have before I need to start?

There is no strict deadline after registration. You can begin recording tasks after onboarding and once you have your own compatible phone headband.

Can I refer someone else to this project?

Yes. Share this application website and ask the applicant to enter your email address in the referral field. Referred participants must meet the requirements, live in a supported country or territory in Latin America, use their own account, and submit only their own recordings.

How can I stop receiving project emails?

Email support@crossinghurdles.com from your registered address, or message the WhatsApp support group with your registered email. The team will update your preferences and remove you from future communications.

Section B

Account access and login

I cannot log in to the Datoric Partner Portal or see "Invalid login credentials."

Use the same email address on the Minute App and Datoric Partner Portal. Check for typing errors or Caps Lock, use "Forgot Password" if needed, and try another browser or a private window. If the issue continues, email support with your registered email, a screenshot, and a short description.

I forgot my password.

Select "Forgot Password" on the Datoric Partner Portal or Minute App login page and reset it using your registered email. If no reset email arrives or the issue continues, contact Crossing Hurdles support.

My account says "No Match."

This usually means your Datoric and Minute App accounts are not linked yet. Confirm that both use the same email. Only upload a 2-3 minute onboarding or test video if support instructs you to do so after you have accepted the project terms. If "No Match" remains, send support your registered email and a screenshot.

I cannot access the Minute App.

Confirm that you have a supported device, are using your registered email, and have a stable internet connection. Close and reopen the app or restart the device. If it still fails, contact support with your email, device model, and a screenshot.

Can I change my registered email?

Avoid changing it because the same email must be used on the Minute App and Datoric Partner Portal. If a change is necessary, contact Crossing Hurdles support before making it so the team can guide you.

Section C

Devices and recording quality

My phone is not supported.

You need a compatible device that meets the Minute App requirements. If you believe your phone should be supported, contact support with the phone model and a screenshot of the message.

My phone broke, or I want to use a different device.

Install the Minute App on another compatible device and sign in with the same account and registered email so your progress remains linked. Contact support if switching devices causes a problem.

I do not have a phone headband. What should I do?

You need your own compatible phone headband to participate. If you plan to obtain one, select the option confirming that you will buy one. You are responsible for the purchase; the project does not provide, deliver, or reimburse headbands.

My videos are not syncing.

Use a stable internet connection and keep the Minute App open until uploading finishes. Try reopening the app or restarting your phone. If the problem continues, contact support with a screenshot and the affected video IDs when available.

My recordings were rejected.

Recordings must follow the task instructions, use a compatible phone headband, show a true first-person view, and be clear and stable. Contact support if the rejection reason is unclear or you believe it was a mistake.

My account was flagged for fraud.

This can happen when a video does not meet authenticity rules, such as not using a true first-person phone-headband view or involving more than one person. Create every recording yourself and follow all guidelines. Contact support if you believe the flag was a mistake.

Section D

Payments and hours

Where do I add my payment details?

Add them in the Datoric Partner Portal under Profile or Payment Settings. Contact Crossing Hurdles support if you have trouble adding them.

How does payment work, and when will I get paid?

Participants earn $6 USD for every approved hour of recorded video. Once your submitted hours are reviewed and approved, and your onboarding and payment details have been successfully verified, eligible payouts are scheduled for processing on Sundays. Payment timelines may vary depending on the approval process and completion of all onboarding requirements.

What is the pay rate?

Participants earn $6 USD for every approved hour of recorded video. Only approved hours are eligible for payment.

How do I calculate my accepted hours?

Subtract Rejected and Pending hours from Qualified Hours. The remainder is your accepted, or approved, hours and is eligible for payment. Contact support if you believe the total is incorrect.
