What is the Video Data Collection Project?

The project collects short, original, first-person videos of everyday activities to support the development of next-generation artificial intelligence and computer vision systems.

Which phones are supported?

You need a Samsung Galaxy S21 or newer, iPhone 12 or newer, or Google Pixel 6 or newer to participate.

What will I need to record?

Activities can include laundry, kitchen tidying, room organisation, bathroom cleaning, plant or pet care, and garage organisation. Full instructions and quality examples are shared with eligible participants.

Does applying guarantee selection?

No. Crossing Hurdles reviews each application against project requirements. Applying is free, and selection depends on eligibility and project availability.
