Crossing Hurdles is looking for participants to join a paid AI video data collection project. The project involves recording short, first-person videos of everyday household activities using your smartphone. These videos are used to help train and improve next-generation AI systems. After applying, every applicant can begin setup immediately in Minute Data, continue in Partner Portal with the same email, and then record and upload videos through the app.
How does payment work?
Participants earn $6 USD for every approved hour of recorded video. Once your submitted hours are reviewed and approved, and your onboarding and payment details have been successfully verified, eligible payouts are scheduled for processing on Sundays. Payment timelines may vary depending on the approval process and completion of all onboarding requirements.
Which phones are supported?
You need a Samsung Galaxy S21 or newer, iPhone 12 or newer, or Google Pixel 6 or newer to participate.
What everyday tasks can I record?
Tasks can include laundry, kitchen tidying, room organisation, bathroom cleaning, plant or pet care, and garage organisation. Watch the sample above to see the expected first-person recording style.
Can I begin setup immediately after applying?
Yes. Every applicant can begin setup as soon as the form is submitted. Use Minute Data first, sign in with the same registered email, and enter organization code PE8EAR5V. Then use Partner Portal with that same email, review and accept the applicable project terms, and begin recording. Recording hours are paid only after they are reviewed and approved, and task availability may change.
