1. Scope and project roles
These terms apply to applications submitted through apply.crossinghurdles.com. Crossing Hurdles manages candidate recruitment and support. Selected participants complete onboarding through the Datoric Partner Portal and use the Minute App to record and upload everyday-task videos.
2. Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Be located in a supported country or territory in Latin America
- Have a compatible smartphone
- Choose the applicable phone-headband status: already have one or will buy one
- Provide accurate information and follow the project's recording and quality requirements
Meeting these requirements does not guarantee selection.
3. Application and onboarding
There are no application or recruitment fees. Participants are responsible for obtaining any compatible phone headband they need. The project does not provide or deliver headbands and does not reimburse their purchase. An application is not an offer of work and does not guarantee access to tasks, a minimum number of hours, or continued participation. Selected candidates must use the same registered email in the Datoric Partner Portal and Minute App and complete any required onboarding before starting.
4. Compensation
The current project rate is $6 USD per approved hour. Payment applies only to work that meets the project's approval and quality requirements; rejected or pending work is not approved work. Eligible payouts are scheduled for processing on Sundays after approved hours and payment details are confirmed, subject to onboarding requirements.
5. Recording and conduct requirements
Participants must follow all recording, safety, privacy, and quality instructions supplied during onboarding. Recordings must be original, accurate, made by the approved participant, and captured with the required compatible device and phone headband. Applicants and participants may not submit copied, misleading, manipulated, or impersonated work.
6. Recording rights and data use
Recordings are intended for AI training and related research. Applying through this website does not transfer ownership of a recording or grant Crossing Hurdles, Datoric, or another party a license to use one.
Before recording begins, selected participants must review and accept a project-specific onboarding agreement. That agreement governs recording ownership, licenses and permitted uses, retention, deletion, and related participant rights. Do not begin recording unless those terms have been provided and you agree to them.
7. Quality review and project access
Recordings may be reviewed against project instructions before hours are approved. Work that does not meet authenticity, safety, recording, or quality requirements may be rejected. Project availability can change, and selection or continued access is not guaranteed.
8. Other project terms
Additional instructions or agreements may be provided through the Datoric Partner Portal or during onboarding. The project-specific onboarding agreement governs recording ownership, data use, retention, deletion, and payment administration where it is more specific than this application page.
