Verify the website and the sender

Use apply.crossinghurdles.com for applications and the referral dashboard. General company information is published at crossinghurdles.com. Candidate questions should be sent to support@crossinghurdles.com.

A message, social post or group invitation does not replace the requirements shown on the matching project page. If a link asks for a fee, financial login, password or one-time code, stop and verify it through candidate support.

  • Never share a password or a six-digit verification code with another person.
  • Check the full domain before entering application or referral information.
  • Use only the post-application steps displayed for the project you submitted.
02

Applications are free; compensation depends on approved work

Crossing Hurdles does not charge an application or recruitment fee. Published project rates apply only to recording time that satisfies the project requirements and is approved after review.

Submitting an application does not guarantee selection, assignments, a fixed number of hours or payment for recordings that do not meet the instructions. A compatible phone or recording setup may be required and is not presented as an application fee; check the project requirements before obtaining equipment.

03

Residential and commercial recordings are different

Residential projects cover eligible everyday activities recorded in the applicant's own home. Commercial projects require authentic routine work inside an eligible active commercial workplace in the published region.

Do not apply to a commercial project using residential footage, and do not stage a workplace. Commercial applicants must have legitimate access to the workplace and permission to record there.

04

Protect people, private information and restricted spaces

Follow the assigned recording brief and local rules. Avoid personal documents, customer information, screens, access credentials and people who have not agreed to appear. Stop recording if the task cannot be completed safely or with permission.

A clear first-person view should show the relevant task and both hands where required. It should never come at the cost of safety, consent or workplace policy.

05

Review, referral and support records stay separate

Applications and recordings are reviewed under their project rules. A referral becomes eligible after the referred person reaches at least 2 accepted hours. The published reward is $1 USD per accepted hour, capped at $50 per referred person and $200 total per referrer email; referring more people does not raise the $200 total cap.

Keep your application email accurate. When asking for help, include that email and the project name, but never send a password or verification code.
