The review process in plain language
A recording can be checked for project eligibility, task authenticity, duration, camera position, stability, lighting, visibility of hands and work, originality, privacy and compliance with the current instructions.
The client manages recording approvals, payment decisions and other project decisions. Crossing Hurdles helps present the opportunity and candidate process but cannot promise that a particular submission will be approved.
Why recording time may not be approved
A recording may fail review when it comes from the wrong region or setting, shows an ineligible task, is unstable or too dark, loses sight of the hands or task, duplicates other footage, includes prohibited information, lacks required permission or otherwise conflicts with the project standard.
- Read the latest instructions before every recording session.
- Check a short sample for framing and lighting.
- Do not reuse, edit or misrepresent someone else's footage.
- Stop when safety or privacy cannot be protected.
How the project rate applies
Each opportunity displays a USD rate for approved video or recording time: $6 for LATAM Residential, $12 for USA Residential, $10 for LATAM Commercial, $12 for Canada Commercial and $15 for USA Commercial.
The rate describes compensation for approved recording duration in that project. It is not a promise to pay for every hour spent applying, setting up, waiting, re-recording or uploading, and it does not guarantee a minimum amount of approved time.
Keep your identity and project records aligned
Use accurate identity and contact details and follow only the confirmation instructions for the project you submitted. Some opportunities use an app and portal while others have a separate flow; never reuse a code or upload step from another project.
