Project and eligibility
Who can apply?
Adults age 18 or older who currently reside in the United States and can accurately select their state may apply. Submission does not guarantee selection or tasks.
Is the form blocked by IP location?
No. The form is viewable without a location barrier. You self-declare your United States residence and state, and you must provide truthful information.
What can I record?
The form lists eligible household activities such as laundry, kitchen tidying, room organisation, cleaning, plant or pet care, and general pickup. Follow the current project instructions before recording.

Equipment and recording quality
Which phones are supported?
The application lists iPhone 12 or newer, Samsung Galaxy S21 or newer, and Google Pixel 6 or newer.
Is a phone headband required?
Yes. You must have or obtain your own compatible phone headband. The project does not provide, deliver, or reimburse it.
Why is the LATAM Residential sample shown?
The same sample demonstrates the first-person camera angle, task framing, stability, and quality expected for residential videos. It does not change this project's United States eligibility.

Payment and next steps
How much does this project pay?
The rate is $12 USD per approved video hour. Rejected, pending, ineligible, or unapproved time is not approved video time.
Are hours or earnings guaranteed?
No. Application review, task availability, recorded time, approval, and total earnings are not guaranteed.
What happens after I apply?
After your application is saved, the confirmation page shows the official Shift downloads and your project-specific partner code. Complete the in-app setup, then start recording at home by following the current instructions in Shift.
