1. Scope and project roles

These terms apply to applications for the USA commercial workplace video-recording project submitted through apply.crossinghurdles.com. Crossing Hurdles manages candidate recruitment, application assessment, and candidate support.

2. Eligibility

Applicants must meet all of the following requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Live in the United States
  • Be currently employed or actively working in Agriculture & Landscaping, Construction, Warehouse & Logistics, Manufacturing & Industrial, Retail, or Hospitality
  • Own an iPhone 12+, Pixel 6+, or Samsung Galaxy S21+
  • Obtain a compatible head-mounted phone holder at their own expense; the cost is not reimbursed
  • Be able to record authentic routine work in an active commercial workplace
  • Be detail-oriented, follow instructions consistently, and be comfortable recording routine work in first person

3. Application and onboarding

Applicants must provide accurate information about their current work, workplace eligibility, and equipment. After an application is successfully saved, applicants should start the on-screen setup immediately and begin recording as soon as setup is complete. The recruitment team still assesses each application and may contact qualified applicants with additional instructions.

4. Compensation

The project rate is $15 USD per approved recording hour. Only recording hours that meet the project requirements and are approved are eligible for payment. Recording approvals, payments, and all project decisions are managed solely by the client.

5. Recording and conduct requirements

Each recording session must be completed independently and show authentic routine work in an active commercial workplace. Recordings must be clear, steady, well-lit, captured in first person with a compatible smartphone secured in a head-mounted phone holder, and keep the participant's hands visible. Participants must follow all safety, privacy, authorization, and quality instructions shown after submission or provided later.

7. Quality review and project access

A successfully saved application provides setup instructions, and applicants should start setup immediately and begin recording when setup is complete. This does not guarantee qualification, continued project access, recording availability, approval, or payment; applications and recordings remain subject to assessment.
